The flag football playbook for youth coaches
Coach the coach.
5-on-5 plays a seven-year-old can read, the words to say when they break, and a card that keeps your whole season. Every play free in the beta.
How it works
Before · during · after
- Before practiceRead the card
Pick a play. Its coach card gives you what to say, what goes wrong, the one-line fix and a 4-minute drill.
- During practiceShow the team
Big type, routes that run, and every kid's job read out loud. Tap Show me again as often as they need it.
- After practiceMark the card
Got it, Mostly or Not yet. Got it at two practices and the play is game ready. Your season scorecard tells you what to run next time.
Twenty plays. All free in the beta.

Questions
Is Coachtella free?
Yes. During the beta, every play, every coach card, every lesson, the rush count, Show the team, practice plans, your coach card and your season scorecard are free.
What comes after the beta?
Coach Pass for coaches who want more, and a plan for whole teams and leagues. Coaches in the beta hear about it first, and nobody is charged without choosing a plan.
Does it work on an iPad?
Yes. Open coachtella.com in Safari or Chrome on an iPad, phone or laptop. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
Can I buy tokens or levels?
No. Tokens, levels and game-ready plays are earned at practice: a play is game ready when your kids get it at two different practices.
Do I enter my players' names?
No. Players are colors: the QB, Yellow, Blue, Orange and Purple, with Red as the sixth kid. Coachtella is built to work without any child's personal information.
Which rules does it follow?
The plays are 5 on 5, the standard youth format, with no center: the QB hikes it to herself. One tap adds a sixth kid, and 4 on 4 is there for the day both teams are short. Rush counts, rush lines and no-run zones differ by league, so go by your league's rules.
Can our whole league get it?
Yes, and it is free during the beta. Talk to us through the contact form and we will help your coaches get set up.
Why the name Coachtella?
Coach plus tell. Every play tells you what to tell your kids, and the one line to say when it breaks.
